Super Garlic Seasoning
I'm
not as picky with store bought spice mixes as I am with store bought BBQ
sauce. I have, however, become partial to the Traeger Prime Rib rub for
beef. I really like a lot of garlic, with a little bit of sweetness
especially for pork and chicken.
I
searched online for a recipe - and found a rub that looked good on paper.
It didn't pan out exactly how I wanted, for taste. I did a little
adjusting - trying it with fresh garlic, minced and dried garlic, and
refrigerated minced garlic. I found that if you are going to rub the meat
and wrap it overnight, the dried minced works best, and if you are going to
cook right away fresh or refrigerated is a little better. I especially
love this rub for chicken, boneless skinless breasts and thighs. Happy
grilling!!
